Just a very quick post, because I’m done to the deadline date again!!! This fortnight, Q was the letter over at the Craftbarn AlphaChallenge … congratulations on the new blog by the way!!!
I didn’t have many words to choose from, but I decided on quote, and I have been searching quotes these past two weeks, but in the end my enthusiasm for Christmas won, over … and as I’m preparing for my yearly Christmas journal, the quote is so apt!!!
Distress inks, fussy cutting, rubons, my own handwriting, and some dimensional snow … lots of fun!!!
A close up of the dictionary definition!!!
Only a couple of letters left … Thank you for dropping by!

Another two double pages to show you … my journalling has been the more mundane of what I’ve been doing, not in a very reflective mood, but I’ve enjoyed being messy and artistic with the pages …
This weekend some of my students sit for the proficiency exams, so hopefully next week, I’ll be getting home earlier than 11.30 pm!!!
Here you go …
Nov. 4th thru 8 – acrylic paint, digital images from SJ once again, and glitter!!!! Circles and banners are tres chic, the numbers I don’t remember!!!
Then we have Nov 9th thru 13th, masking, misting, 3 d paste, stamping with unity stamps, and acrylic ink fun, fun, fun!!!!
I hope you have enjoyed my pages, thanks for stopping by, and your lovely comments!!!!

Good morning everyone, another page from the past today, the last one I think in the album that I have been sharing will you!
Here I am with my two angels in 2005. They were lovely and so well behaved when they visited Jumbo for the first time. They each just chose ONE thing to buy!!!
The elements are a digital kit that I had downloaded ….
You can see some dry embossing on the white cardstock on the bottom.
Printing on vellum …
Inking on the papers, and a close up of the dry embossing!
I hope you have enjoyed this eleventh instalment of Blast from the Past … see you next week or the week after!

I’m currently doing an online class at Shirel Studio called Pop and Colour … it’s a total of 12 classes.
Class 1 – Stephanie Schütze
The photo is from a group shot of my scrappy friends at TGIF where we are having a party for Kat’s birthday. It was fun to create the background.
I’ve added a few paper embellies, stickles, painted heart wood veneers.
Close up of details.

Tag is gelli plated. More Close ups of details.
This took me most of Sunday to do, and today I started, class 2, so hopefully will have something to show you soon.

This week has busily gone by, full hours at work, trying to correct and mark tests, have students who are sitting for the proficiency exam … I haven’t scrapped ONE bit, and I’m having withdrawal symptoms … but I have been stitching a bit … so today it’s:
I have another cutie that I finished this week:
Here is how it started:
Heaven only knows when I had started this … but after a few hours I had:
I have to see the eyes before I can stop when I start something … a few days later:
and then the last stretch!
Of course the real work was stitching the two sides together with a blanket stitch!!!
I’ve already decided where this little guy will go this year, and I truly hope he will be appreciated!!!!
I have already picked out my next project … so see you again next Sunday!!! Enjoy a fab day whatever you decide to do!!!

Good morning everyone, if you are here, it means you want to see who my winner and favourites are!
First I have to thank every one of you that took part in this challenge … there were some amazing cards and it was so hard to pick a winner and I don’t know if I can only choose 5 favourites!!!
My winner is Amy Petrou with her incredible ‘winter’ window scene!
What a excellent use of the snow stencil!!!
Congratulations Amy and I hope you will enjoy your prize!
Now here are just a few of those that I loved:
Thank you once again for all your hard work girls!!!
Why don’t you go on over to Get Creative to see the rest of the winners?
Have a great weekend!

Cross stitching is a true love of mine, and I have been doing it for years. I got a bit side tracked with scrapbooking, but I’ve decided to renew my hobby, and why not, finish one of my endless projects.
So every Sunday on my blog will be:
Where I will either show you what I’m currently working on, what I’ve recently finished or maybe even a project from the past!
This week to start off I have to show you, a little Christmas kit that I rescued from my drawer …
As you can see it’s a 1994 Dimensions Kit, made in the USA that had been sent to me, eons ago … To be honest I don’t know how long it’s been sitting in my drawer of stitch projects … But I’ve recently started meeting up with my Stitch group here in Athens, and I’ve joined a Stitch group on Facebook, and out came the needles again.
Progress photo after the first week ….
…. and here is the finished Santa hanging off my light … he’s so adorable, and it has been a great feeling to know that he’s done!!!
Next week I hope to show you another Christmas project / kit that I’m tackling!!!
Have a great day everyone … whatever you decide to do!
